The CHV read

#4 Battlefield Hero is the primary win selection. He carries an A grade, a 30.3% modeled win probability, 2.3–1 fair odds and a 6–1 morning line. He ranks first in win probability, Energy and Early Speed. CHV's Bottom Line identifies him as the win bet, but Jeff flags a softer FIT score and a stretch-out/Late Speed question. Those concerns belong in the final price decision.

#8 Culpable is the value-screen alternative. His Bv grade includes CHV's v suffix, which highlights a data-tested value angle. He has a 12.6% modeled win probability, 6.9–1 fair odds, an 8–1 morning line, 97 FIT and the top Trainer/Jockey Rating. His weaker Energy is the counterweight. Jeff considers him for a win bet and as the narrow Daily Double key if the live price holds up.

#5 Admiral's Order is the price-dependent expansion. He has a 14.6% modeled win probability against a 12–1 morning line and +8.4 Value, but his FIT score is only 53. He belongs on a wider ticket only when the tote and final conditions justify the cost.

Wagering approach

Win: #4 Battlefield Hero is the Bottom Line selection. Compare his live odds with 2.3–1 fair odds; also consider #8 Culpable if his price compensates for the Energy concern.
Race 3–4 Daily Double, narrowest: #8 Culpable / #8 Money Supply.
Compact expansion: #4 and #8 in Race 3 / #8 Money Supply in Race 4.
Widest version Jeff discusses: #4, #5 and #8 in Race 3 / #4 Otello and #8 Money Supply in Race 4. Add combinations only when the available prices merit the extra cost.

In Race 4, #8 Money Supply leads both W% and TJR at 22.3% modeled win probability; #4 Otello is the dirt-route-suffix price alternative at a 12–1 morning line. Both races met CHV's HxS 3.0+ target threshold in the pre-race view (Race 3: 4.8; Race 4: 3.5).

Why this race qualified

Battlefield Hero's probability lead meets a meaningful morning-line price gap, while Culpable contributes a separate value-screen signal. The two-race target scores support looking at a Daily Double, but the ticket stays compact and the live tote remains decisive. This is pre-race analysis: check scratches, surface, conditions and final odds before wagering.
